Nancy Pelosi is once again standing on the wrong side of history. This week the issue is a bill on drug pricing.

While healthcare conversations among San Franciscans are centered on Medicare for All, Pelosi is touting a bill that would lower drug prices on just 25 drugs… for some Americans.

Republicans have already vowed to block the bill’s passage. Still, Pelosi has opposed all efforts to strengthen the bill from the Congressional Progressive Caucus.

The Elijah E. Cummings Lower Drug Costs Now Act is a statement bill. The statement Nancy Pelosi is sending is that not all Americans deserve healthcare.
