OJJDP Convenes Listening Sessions To Advance OJJDP Priorities 

OJJDP Administrator Listening Sessions

OJJDP Administrator Liz Ryan is hosting a series of listening sessions [ [link removed] ] this summer with youth justice stakeholders, national partners, and justice-involved youth and families. Feedback from the listening sessions will inform the Office’s work in advancing three priorities: [ [link removed] ]


* Treat children as children. 
* Serve children at home, with their families, in their communities.
* Open up opportunities for young people involved in the justice system. 

To date, organizations from 34 states and the District of Columbia have provided invaluable input at OJJDP's first nine listening sessions. OJJDP anticipates participation from all 50 states through upcoming national and regional sessions. OJJDP is also holding two virtual town halls with youth who have been impacted by the juvenile justice system.
