How cool is this float created by 7th graders at High Tech Middle Media Arts? They participated in the Ocean Beach Parade this past weekend with the theme “Love is a Miracle.”
They also helped us fundraise for our shelters in Tijuana! Gracias amigos🖤

Today we wanted to showcase one of our chapters. Our @borderangels_sonomacounty ([link removed][UNIQID]) recently held a “Brews for the Angels” fundraiser, raising money for Border Angels. A huge thank you to everyone that came out to the event and made it possible. None of this would occur without all of our hardworking volunteers and supporters! Thank you to all of you for supporting us. Each one of your donations and supports to Border Angels truly does make a difference. We appreciate you! .

Muchas gracias to our leader Osvaldo and everyone who participated in our Day Labor Outreach last Saturday. We had a great turnout! Even with the rain, hardworking day laborers are still out there, making this day that much more special for everyone who participated. We were able to provide some moral support and resources as well as some cafecito☕️🖤 have you thanked a day laborer today?

The Mobile School Project

The Mobile School project was born from the collaboration between two humanitarian aid organizations Border Angels and The Schoolbox Project. As you may know, Border Angels sponsors ~15 shelters in Tijuana, MX serving migrant families who often spend many months waiting for asylum hearings and next steps. The shelters house hundreds of children, many of whom have spent months, if not years outside of the school system - if they were able to attend in their home countries at all.

The friends love playing music together, but their friendship, families, and music are threatened when a Mr. Trumpet decides to build a wall and remove those who do not play the music he likes.

This is a story about how a group of friends can overcome heartbreak and separation through working together and believing in one another. People big and small, young and old, near and far, can find strength in caring for one another and building a better world for tomorrow.
