One thing I've learned as a public figure is that I have a duty to use my power for the greater good. 

We are at a crucial point in our country.

Across America, we're seeing unprecedented attacks on our fundamental rights. Our democracy is being threatened, and I feel an incredible responsibility to speak out.

That's why I'm reaching out to you today. 

Growing up, my parents were very politically engaged. I used to sit in the back of their station wagon, handing out pamphlets for our candidates. 

And while that station wagon is long gone, I'm staying engaged by writing to express how important it is that we reelect Maggie Hassan in New Hampshire this November. 

Senator Hassan has worked tirelessly to make this country more inclusive and accessible to all Americans, and we can't afford to lose her voice in the Senate.

But Mitch McConnell only needs to flip one seat to take back control of the Senate, and he's all in on flipping this one. If McConnell takes back the Senate, he will block critical legislation on voting rights, health care, reproductive rights, and more, forcing our country back decades.
