On January 6th, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy was hiding along with his fellow members of Congress from the hoard of insurrectionists Donald Trump unleashed on the Capitol.

Thanks to the January 6th Committee, we know now that McCarthy was terrified, and justifiably so. He desperately tried to get in contact with Trump and urge him to call off the insurrection.

Now, 18 months later, McCarthy is trying to distance himself from the scared man hiding from Trump’s violent supporters. That’s why we’re asking, what changed Kevin?
