Voters in Kansas just sent an undeniable message that abortion rights are
not up for debate.

In the first electoral test of abortion rights since the Supreme Court
overturned Roe v. Wade, Kansans turned out in record numbers to reject a
constitutional amendment that would have would have opened the door for
lawmakers to further restrict or ban abortions across the state.^1

This vote proves that there is widespread support for reproductive freedom
from red to blue states. Now we must keep up this momentum.

Activists in Michigan are leading an effort to protect reproductive
freedom in the state’s constitution through a ballot initiative this
November – and they need our help to organize and turn out voters.
