Endorses Mike Levin For Re-Election To Congress

The Carlsbad Police Officer’s Association, representing the front line police officers, community service officers, and communications personnel in the City of Carlsbad, has endorsed Congressmember Mike Levin for re-election in 2020.

Here's what CPOA President Matt Lowe said about Mike:

“Mike Levin is a hard-working and effective public servant. He is available, accessible, and responsive. He fights to make sure we get the support we need to make our community a safe place to live, work, and visit. We are proud to stand with Mike Levin for re-election.”

The Carlsbad Police Officer’s Association is the second major law enforcement group to make an early endorsement of Mike Levin, joining the San Diego Police Officers Association.

“It is always a great honor to have the support of our community’s first responders,” said Levin. “No one has a more difficult or more essential job, and nothing I do is more important than working with them to keep our neighborhoods safe.”

The coastal city of Carlsbad is the second largest city in Congressional District 49, containing nearly one fifth of the residents.

Mike Levin, elected to his first term in 2018, serves on the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee, the Natural Resources Committee, and the Select Committee on the Climate Crisis.
