Dear John,
Sign our petition demanding that Congress improve our climate, our health care, and our collective futures by passing the Inflation Reduction Act ASAP!
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Senator Joe Manchin recently announced a landmark proposal called the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. The proposed legislation would dedicate the largest-ever investment in fighting the climate crisis, lower the cost of prescription drugs, expand health care, and make massive corporations pay more of their fair share. We need to act swiftly to pass the strongest version of this landmark legislation.
This summer's extreme weather events—suffocating heat waves, torrential rains, dangerous drought—show us that the climate crisis is already here. At the same time, millions of Americans can't afford the prescription medicines they need, and we face a deadline that could make health insurance under the Affordable Care Act more expensive for some if we don't act now. Regular folks are the ones experiencing these hardships, while mega-corporations are reporting record profits, giving executives jaw-dropping compensation, and manipulating every loophole to avoid paying their fair share in taxes.
Sign the petition calling on Congress to pass the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 in order to improve access to health care, combat the climate crisis, and make corporations pay more of their fair share.

America’s biggest-ever investment in confronting the climate crisis is included in this bill. These landmark climate provisions will make an immediate impact on millions of Americans–and will protect hundreds of millions of Americans in the years to come.
Democrats in Congress have the chance to pass this historic bill, which would be a significant step in the direction we need to go. While Republicans are lining up in opposition, we need Democrats to rally and get it across the finish line.
Will you sign our petition turning up the public pressure on Congress to pass the Inflation Reduction Act as soon as possible?
Thanks for all you do,
