[1]Cheri Beasley for North Carolina
Earlier this week, abortion rights were on the ballot in Kansas, and the answer from voters was resoundingly in favor of the right to abortion. Nearly 60 percent of voters in Kansas voted in favor of keeping their state constitution’s protections for abortion.
For years, pundits in Washington told us abortion rights were not a winning issue at the ballot box. It’s a big reason why reproductive freedom was never a priority in Congress, and now today, abortion has been completed or nearly banned in dozens of states.
Republicans like our opponent Ted Budd got exactly what they wanted when the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, and next they want to pass a national abortion ban without exceptions.
The contrast could not be clearer: Elect Cheri Beasley and secure the decisive 51st vote to protect abortion rights once and for all, or elect Ted Budd and give Republicans another vote for a national abortion ban in the Senate.
It’s up to us to make sure we have the resources to make the stakes in November clear to voters. If we do that, we win and expand our majority. But we need your help:
Can you please make a donation to ensure Cheri has the resources to reach every single voter necessary to win in November? It’s important that every voter knows exactly what’s on the line in North Carolina.

The pundits who spent years questioning whether abortion rights were a winning issue electorally are the same ones who are trying to say that Democrats have no chance this fall. They say history is against us, and there’s nothing we can do.
That’s utter nonsense, and we know it. The Republicans’ agenda is more extreme than ever, and their politicized Supreme Court is threatening so many of our fundamental rights and freedoms.
We absolutely can win. So let’s go prove them wrong and defy history with Cheri Beasley.
Make a donation right now to flip North Carolina’s Senate seat. This is one of the most winnable races in the country, but it is going to take all of us.
