True Leaders in Equity Institute Inspires Young People From Across the U.S.

Twenty-seven youth/adult mentor teams from 19 U.S. states and territories gathered in Bethesda, Maryland, for the fourth annual True Leaders in Equity Institute (TLEI) in mid-July. Attendees spent four days networking and learning concrete skills for tackling equity-related issues in their 4-H communities. Trustee Leslie Coleman lit up the room during the Career Readiness Panel Discussion. Special thanks to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and CHS Foundation for their support of TLEI.
