We need to scale up our investments to reach voters across Colorado

If there’s one thing you should see today, it’s this — unaffiliated voters in Colorado turned out at a higher rate for Republicans than Democrats in June’s primary election.

Ballots return by unaffiliated voters. Republicans: 231,461 Democrats: 161,663

With Michael’s seat and our Senate majority on the line, we’re concerned. Here’s why:

We knew this race would be competitive — and expensive. Last quarter, Michael’s opponent bankrolled half of his total fundraising haul ($1 million!), so that means we need to be prepared for a massive influx of cash in this race at any moment.

And after Mitch McConnell said that he was “all in” on flipping Michael’s seat, we won’t be surprised if we see him and the National GOP spend more of their $200 million-plus warchest to flip Michael’s seat.

This means we need to invest even more in our advertising and ground game operation to reach voters across the state and uplift Michael’s accomplishments for Coloradans. Michael knows that no votes can be taken for granted — after all, he won his last re-election race by just 1.7%.

So please, chip in $10 to help us mobilize voters across Colorado. We’re proud that folks like you fuel our campaign, not corporate PACs or federal lobbyists — and every contribution goes a long way.
