We’re really gonna miss Senator Pat Toomey. (LOL just kidding)
Senator who? Uhhh… This dude. 👇
I’m sure you already know how bad Pat Toomey is.
In the last few weeks alone, Toomey has refused to say if he’ll support a bill protecting marriage equality and delayed a bill that would guarantee life-saving care for veterans harmed by burn pits and toxins.
As Jon Stewart said, Pat Toomey used our veterans as “pawns.” That’s just sickening.
And please keep in mind, this dude’s been in the Senate for 11 years!!! I don’t think I could even fit all of his BS into one email, frankly. 🙄🙄🙄
But the #1 thing you need to know about Pat Toomey is this: He is NOT seeking re-election, which is why I’m now running against Dr. Oz to win Pennsylvania’s open Senate seat.
So, today, I’m humbly asking:
The last time this Senate seat was contested, it ended up being the most expensive Senate race of the 2016 campaign cycle.
So, with how crucial (and flippable) this seat is, we know the GOP is willing to spend as much money as possible to make sure we don’t win. After all, Dr. Oz is literally worth $100-$400 million thanks to his years hawking snake oil on TV. He can more or less write blank checks to his own campaign.
Supporters like you are helping us fight back against the buckets of money the GOP and their super PACs are dumping into PA. But we can’t afford to lose momentum if we want to make sure they don’t buy this seat.
Let’s show them what our grassroots movement is made of. Will you chip in your first $5 now?
