Dear Jack. I know my colleagues at Save the Redwoods League reached out recently to invite you to become an Evergreen Member. As Save the Redwood League’s Director of Annual Giving, I see first-hand the impact monthly gifts make in securing a future for the redwoods and giant sequoia. While every one-time donation is received with immense gratitude, a monthly donation offers greater stability. Evergreen Members are foundational to our work. That’s why I became an Evergreen Member myself several years back.
I want to share 3 reasons why: 1. I care deeply about securing a future for the redwoods and giant sequoia. Being up close to the work, it became clear to me that Evergreen Members are those who drive the most lasting impact on behalf of our coast redwood and giant sequoia forests, and I wanted to be part of that transformational legacy. Sign me up » 2. Each time I see the monthly gift on my bank statement, I feel a renewed connection to the League’s purpose. Restoration takes time, lots of time – more than any one of us at the League can complete in a lifetime. The monthly gift on my bank statement each month always inspires a moment of pride in the fact that I’m working alongside fellow donors to support restoration work that will outlast all of us. Yes, I’m in » 3. The perks are great – like these fun banana slug socks! For a limited time, new Evergreen Members receive a pair of banana slug socks. When your friends and family ask about your socks, you’ll get the chance to share why you care about the redwoods. You might even end up recruiting our next Evergreen Member this way!
