The flooding that has hit Eastern Kentucky is absolutely devastating. My thoughts and prayers are with every family impacted by this tragedy.
I wish I could tell you why we keep getting hit here in Kentucky, why areas where people may not have that much continue to get hit and lose everything. I can't give you the why, but I know what we do in response: everything we can.
Helping families rebuild and recover is going to be a long, hard process. We set up the Team Eastern Kentucky Flood Relief Fund to assist those impacted by the floods and severe weather system.
