The bipartisan January 6th Select Committee has shown that Trump and his far-right allies planned, promoted, and paid for a criminal conspiracy to overturn an election they knew they’d lost. And they didn’t stop there. They're still working to sabotage future elections by changing state laws, threatening state officials, and packing election administration offices so that they can have the final say over election results – even when they lose.
Now, it’s up to us to hold them accountable – and take steps to protect our democracy. One of the ways we can help preserve and protect our democracy is by passing local resolutions to help build momentum on a local, state, and national level that would protect our freedom to vote from ongoing efforts to sabotage our elections.
During the call panelists will provide information and a toolkit to help activists draft resolutions, build local support for them, and more.
When we show support for local officials, they can more confidently stand up against Trump’s army of far-right conspiracy theorists who are hell-bent on undermining our democracy.
