John, in a democracy, voters should choose their politicians – not the other way around. That’s why we’re committed to fighting for fair maps where election outcomes reflect the will of the people. And our hard work is paying off!

In states where map-drawing was controlled by Democrats or non-partisan bodies, the number of competitive seats increased. But in states where map-drawing was controlled by Republicans, the number of competitive seats decreased due to gerrymandering.

We’re fighting for a fair system where the results of competitive elections reflect the will of the voters. Meanwhile, Republicans are fighting for a rigged system that guarantees they’ll stay in power – regardless of what the voters want.

Our fight for fairness is critical, John. That’s why President Obama said, “I’m urging you to continue helping the NDRC deploy its proven strategy to ensure that voters decide our elections – not politicians.”

Will you answer President Obama’s call to action by donating to the NDRC today to support our fight to defend democracy and preserve free and fair elections?

Since 2017, the NDRC has executed a comprehensive redistricting strategy that shifts the redistricting power, creating fair districts where Democrats can compete. Our victories have been made possible by our strong community of grassroots supporters.
