John - only one of Texas's Democratic Representatives has refused to commit to impeaching the president for his abuse of power and obstruction: my opponent, Henry Cuellar.

This should not be a difficult vote. The president's attempted bribery scheme and coverup cannot be allowed to stand in our democracy.

The case is clear, and nearly every House and Senate Democrat knows it. This is a moment where our elected officials should be providing clear moral leadership.

Our community deserves better representation in Washington.

While many Americans, including many working people in South Texas, are focused on local issues that affect our daily lives, we expect our representatives in Washington to take their constitutional duties seriously and uphold the oath they took when they assumed office. It's time for them to act.

Despite overwhelming evidence of misconduct by Donald Trump, Henry Cuellar claims that he needs more time to review the evidence. His lack of resolve shows that he's willing to overlook Trump's corruption and Republicans' attempts to rig the system.
