** Youth Services Grant Scheme Reform Project implementation

The Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY) has announced that the Youth Services Grant Scheme (YSGS) Reform Project is moving into its implementation phase, with key reforms to be in place for the January 2024 funding cycle. Green Steps programme

ECO-UNESCO are running their Green Steps employability programme for young people aged 15-24 years old, ideally not in employment, or are looking for a career in the green sector. The course is 12 weeks and starts the first week of September.

** School Climate Survey

Belong To want to know what school is like for LGBTQ+ youth! In partnership with Columbia University, New York, Belong To have launched their School Climate Survey, asking LGBTQ+ young people across Ireland what second-level school is like for them. The survey is open now and will run until August 8th.

** Erasmus+ Trips
------------------------------------------------------------

Ógras is going international with Erasmus+ with trips to Croatia this week and to Italy in August. A group of 5 young musicians is currently in Croatia to share and learn about music and culture, and 6 Ógras members will be focusing on Mental Health and nature in Italy in August as part of an educational trip with Erasmus+.

Format: keep submissions concise (three lines or shorter). Include a link to your website where readers can find out more.

The E-Bulletin goes out to over 5,000 subscribers with an interest in youth issues. It is a great opportunity both to let the sector know about the fantastic work your organisation does and to target youth workers and those interested in youth work issues directly.
