AVAILABLE NOW: EXPLORERS OF THE DEEP

We’re very excited to announce 2022’s 4-H STEM Challenge activity kit, Explorers of the Deep! Including everything you need to embark on three fun adventures, the kit will challenge kids to observe and investigate the interconnected nature between our planet’s oceans and humans.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN EXPLORERS OF THE DEEP

Developed by Rutgers University, the kit takes kids ages 8-14 on an underwater adventure where they'll tackle some of the same questions that today’s top ocean scientists and engineers are investigating! Here’s more about the three unplugged, hands-on activities included:

1. Ocean Robot Test Tank: Prepare your ocean robot for deep-sea research exploration to measure climate change and its impact on ocean systems.

2. Ocean Expedition: Play an immersive board game to explore the mysteries of the ocean and what ocean robots typically encounter.

3. Ocean Communicator: Investigate the top challenges the ocean faces today and learn about what we can do to help protect it.

 4-H welcomes kids of all beliefs and backgrounds, giving them a voice to express who they are and how they make their lives and communities better.
