Our Republican opponent, Alek Skarlatos, is airing his first TV ad of the campaign. The onslaught of MAGA cash flooding into Oregon has officially begun.

Just like we suspected he would, Alek is spending big early to try to cover up his extremist record and unquestioning devotion to Donald Trump. He thinks he can fool Oregon voters.

Alek says he'll "bring balance to Washington" but we know the truth: He would be another vote for Kevin McCarthy and the Republicans hellbent on tearing down voting rights, rolling back protections for working people and our environment, and enacting a national abortion ban.

Alek called for the Supreme Court to overturn Roe. He questioned the loyalty of national guard soldiers who protected the Capitol on January 6th. He won't admit that Donald Trump lost the 2020 election.

That's not "balance." That's the same radical MAGA agenda that is fueling his donor base. They know exactly what they're doing, and they're trying to buy this seat for Alek.
