A win like this proves that Republican or Democrat, young or old, Americans believe in the fundamental right to bodily autonomy, and they’re not going to settle for the radical right taking it away.
But the fight is not over, John.
My opponent Jeremy Shaffer supports a national amendment to ban abortion even in cases of rape and incest, and you can bet he will be another vote against reproductive freedom if Kevin McCarthy and Mitch McConnell gain control in November.
