Having served in the Legislature myself, if there's one thing I know, it's how much Democrats love to abuse end-of-session deadlines in order to get their way.
So you can imagine my reaction when I learned that a wrench was thrown into the Democrat Free Handout Machine via a ballot initiative passed by voters in 1986 to provide the taxpayers with well-deserved refunds should state revenues exceed a certain level, which they most assuredly have.
Cue the wailing by the Democrats, and their complete and utter disdain for We the People:
