Dear John ,
You’ve been fighting for clean water in Wisconsin for years, and it’s paying off.

The Year of Clean Drinking Water, the Speaker’s Task Force on Water Quality, executive orders to address lead, nitrate, and PFAS pollution – 2019 has shown your direct action is working.

But, we can’t lose one iota of that momentum! That’s why we’re hosting a Clean Water Lobby Day on Jan. 30. [[link removed]]

We’re facing the fight of our lives for clean drinking water. The three major threats to our water quality are nitrate from ag pollution, the “forever chemicals” called PFAS, and lead. Unsafe drinking water is linked to cancer, diabetes, infant brain damage, lifelong learning and behavioral problems, and many more negative health outcomes.

The legislature is in session and the water quality task force is crafting its solutions after a summer-long tour of the state. That’s why we’re headed back to the State Capitol to speak directly with the lawmakers who hold the future of our water quality in their hands. Save the date for our Clean Water Lobby Day.
