JOhn, this was a wonderful headline to wake up to this morning:
The Washington Post: Kansans resoundingly reject amendment aimed at restricting abortion rights
In the wake of Roe v. Wade being overturned, far-right extremists have been trying to pass harsh abortion bans in as many states as possible. But voters in the state of Kansas last night soundly rejected an anti-choice agenda.
Kansas is a state that has voted Republican in every election since 1964 — usually by landslide margins (Donald Trump won it by 15 percent in 2020). So JOhn, the fact that Kansans are overwhelmingly voting to protect abortion access sends a powerful message: abortion rights are on the ballot this year, and the American people know it.
Last night's victory is just the beginning. We can elect proven pro-choice leaders in battleground districts across the country — including right here in VA-10. Will you chip in $10 to help me hold my seat and defend our pro-choice House majority?

JOhn, the contrast between my opponent and myself on abortion is as clear as night and day. I've voted repeatedly to codify reproductive freedom into federal law, while he was "thrilled" that Roe v. Wade was overturned.
The people of VA-10 want to preserve their privacy and freedom, and if we have the resources to get our message out, we will prevail.
We can't slow down. But I'm fired up — especially after last night's results.
So are you with us, JOhn? Every bit of support matters as we approach Election Day. Please contribute $10 or whatever you can here → [link removed]
Thank you,
Jennifer
