We have two major updates:
1) Last night, Rashida Tlaib and Cori Bush won their primary elections — overcoming massive outside spending from super PACs by organizing and mobilizing voters across their districts.
2) In Kansas, voters rejected a ballot measure that would have allowed legislators to ban or heavily restrict abortion, showing the energy and conviction behind the movement to protect reproductive rights and freedom.
These are significant victories. Rashida and Cori winning their primary elections is a major win for our collective progressive movement. And the rejection of the Kansas anti-abortion ballot measure means that millions of people retain access to abortion.
Now we have to build on that momentum — and our work is far from over. Ayanna has an extremist, right-wing, anti-abortion opponent who is being propped up by the Massachusetts GOP.
This is a grassroots campaign, powered by people chipping in what they can afford because they believe in the issues Ayanna is fighting for: racial justice, student debt cancellation, safeguarding abortion access, and more.
Our Squad is big and you are a part of it. Will you make a $3 contribution right now to help re-elect Ayanna to Congress in November? Your dollars will help us build on the momentum from last night in Michigan, Missouri, and Kansas, reach voters across the MA-07, and show that our movement isn’t going anywhere.
Thank you so much for your support,
The A-Team
