Friend--
More than 200,000 people have signed petitions to protect our public Postal Service. Many more have signed and returned paper petitions to
A Grand Alliance to Save Our Public Postal Service, and our allies have joined us in sending their own versions of the petition. Your coworkers, neighbors and allies are standing together to say that the
U.S. Mail Is Not for Sale!
This is a good start, but we need to do more to show how strongly people support our Postal Service.
Friend, that is why I am asking you to add your name to the petition.
This is important to every single one of us. The USPS not only the source of good jobs for working people, but it also the engine of our country’s e-commerce-driven growth, a community anchor, and a link to the outside world for millions across the country.
The threat has been growing since June 2018, when the White House announced its reckless plan to privatize large parts of the Postal Service.
In October, Postmaster General Megan Brennan announced her retirement. Brennan’s successor will shortly be appointed by the Postal Service Board of Governors. That Board’s majority was appointed by the very same White House administration that wants to privatize the USPS.
We can’t let that happen. The Postmaster General has huge decision-making power at the USPS. Only the united voices of people across the country can make a difference.
Add your name now – postal jobs could depend on this.
In Solidarity,
President Dimondstein
