Hey John, my name is Diane Sands I represent Montana’s 49th District in our State Senate.

I’m reaching out today on behalf of the Montana Democrats and the women of Montana. About a month ago, I had the opportunity to sit down with Vice President Kamala Harris and other influential women in state legislatures around the country.

We discussed the clear and present danger the fall of Roe v. Wade poses to women’s reproductive rights, and what we can do to fight back. Right here in Montana, our GOP-controlled state legislature is threatening to call a special session to overwrite our constitution!

Governor Greg Gianforte and the other anti-choice Republicans in our legislature are poised to make abortion and all reproductive rights extremely hard to come by.

I’ve been fighting for abortion rights and access since before Roe was even passed, and I’m not about to give up now. We must fight back.
