Hello from the Campaign Trail

Last week, I was able to meet Senator Heitkamp on the Missouri River Boat. She shared a message we can all relate to and support.

Here's the deal...

Last week, Senator Hoeven failed to protect our country, he voted against the CHIP Act that would help bring semiconductor manufacturing back to the US. It will create well paying jobs and support semi-conductor research. It is a national security risk and it is a pinch point in our manufacturing sector that 90% of the semiconductors are currently manufactured in Taiwan. CHIPS will be signed into law August 9th because there were enough senators willing to protect this country, but not Senator Hoeven.

We need to amplify what people in the state are thinking: that the GOP in ND doesn't care about people. Last week, Cramer voted against the PACT Act, the bill that funds health care for vets exposed to toxic burn pits. We value our vets. We want them to have the care they need. But the ND GOP has become so confident, so comfortable with exercising their worst impulses, they are comfortable spiting vets.

It is so important for our party to become an electoral threat to restore balance, the rule of law and what makes ND so special. The state bank, the state mill, are examples of our collective commitment to each other and the future.

I am committed to working to insure a bright future for the state and the people in it. I am an agricultural engineer and educator. I have been working to solve problems for a long time.  I care about people and this state. Help me amplify that message and donate today.
