Hello –

I want to express my deepest gratitude to you and everyone on this team who showed up for Team Kilmer yesterday in the primary election.

I am honored and humbled by the support. The resources it takes to run a grassroots campaign like ours are tremendous. But last night is a testament to each of you – who offered your time, sweat, and hard-earned dollars to help our effort. To every person who made calls, put up signs, talked to their friends about what's at stake, and – most importantly – VOTED, I am forever grateful.

This is a defining moment for our country, and yesterday's primary was only the first step. Folks all across our region and our nation know what's at stake this November. The power of the ballot reaffirmed what I already knew: People want progress for our region – not political games or partisan extremism.

When reproductive freedom, the health of our environment, the right to marry the person we love – and so much more – were threatened, you showed up and stood up for a brighter future through the power of your vote. That's why I am hopeful about what the future holds – not just for our district but for our democracy

And on November 8th – we'll finish what we started, team. Together, we will help people in our region recover from the pandemic. We will stand up for reform and fight for accountability at all levels of government. And, we will get the government working again, for the people.
