Team – it’s official: I’m the Democratic nominee for MI-11.

First, I want to say thank you. None of this would be possible without your support. We reached this milestone because of our belief in Michigan’s future.

But now, the real work begins. I’m running to keep MI-11 blue for the third term in a row, and out of the hands of the extremist, anti-democracy GOP. I grew up right here in Oakland County, and I’ve known for a long time that Michigan’s community is unlike any other. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do to uplift this district so everyone can live a safe, prosperous life.

But here’s the thing: Real change doesn’t happen overnight. We can’t just hope for a better future – we have to fight for it.

For two terms, I’ve been honored to fight for the community of MI-11. Whether it’s recovering millions of dollars for local individuals and businesses or standing up for reproductive freedom in Michigan, I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished so far – but there’s still a lot of work left to do.
