Nebraska Republicans: Fighting for our Vets

- During President Donald J. Trump's first State of the Union address, he outlined a stark contrast between the vision Republicans have for the country and the vision Democrats have for the country. You see those two visions playing out today: one focused on prosperity and renewed strength, the other on endless, politically-motivated investigations.

- Governor Pete Ricketts called the sham impeachment out in a statement yesterday: “Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats have wasted countless hours and millions of taxpayer dollars trying to remove a duly elected President.  Their sham articles of impeachment have come at the expense of the American people’s priorities, such as the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement which has been delayed for over a year.  Should House Democrats vote to impeach, I expect President Trump to be fully exonerated by the Senate.”

- Congressman Don Bacon took to Twitter to share the latest poll findings: President Trump is ahead of every Democrat front runner in key battleground states, even as they throw the kitchen sink at the administration in an attempt to damage the President's chances for re-election. Read it here.

Senator Ben Sasse received the endorsement of the Nebraska Farm Bureau. Check out more here

- After relentless efforts from folks like Congressmen Adrian Smith, Jeff Fortenberry, Don Bacon and Senators Deb Fischer and Ben Sasse, Speaker Pelosi finally agreed to pass the USMCA, a bill that will help Nebraska's agribusinesses update and expand business in Canada and Mexico. Read more here
