Corporations want us to believe they have to choose between paying decent wages or lowering prices for consumers.
That’s a false choice.
Corporations could lower their prices. They could invest in the workers who make their companies’ success possible. But instead they are funenling their massive profits into executives’ and shareholders’ pockets. It’s time to stop corporations from running the economy and leaving workers behind.
