Hi John,

Last night, voters in Kansas overwhelmingly voted to protect the right to an abortion in their state, protecting bodily autonomy and the right to choose for Kansan women and girls.

This was the first test of abortion rights in a post-Dobbs America, and the decision of the voters of Kansas – by no means a blue state – shows that Americans value their privacy.

While this moment calls for joy, it also calls for reflection on just how out of touch the radical right is with American voters. Just hours after the Dobbs decision, my opponent joined the state's leading anti-choice organization in a press conference where he hailed the decision as "a great day."

If elected my opponent would stand beside MAGA Republicans to pass a nationwide abortion ban, enforcing the views of the most radical on all Americans.

John, I promise to always stand against the radical right to defend bodily autonomy and reproductive freedom. Can you chip in any amount today to help keep me in Congress where I can fight for our rights?

In solidarity with the voters in Kansas,

Joe Courtney
