As the 2019 Congressional session ends, the U.S. House of Representatives just passed legislation to lower prescription drug prices significantly. The Elijah E. Cummings Lower Prescription Drug Costs Now Act allows the federal government to negotiate lower prices for Medicare, among other reforms.
