The GOP has told us time and time again what their next target is, now that Roe v. Wade has been overturned – it’s time we listened to what they’ve been saying. We need every Virginia to step up, chip in, and stop the parade of Republicans gleefully targeting marriage equality and LGBTQ rights.

Recently, Virginia’s own Attorney General Jason Miyares entered the fray, joining a lawsuit against President Joe Biden’s administration’s policy that prevents school meal programs from discriminating against students based on sexual or gender identity.

Let that sink in: AG Jason Miyares thinks public schools should be allowed to refuse to sell lunch to LGBTQ students.

Jason Miyares is happily joining the ranks of Ted Cruz and Clarence Thomas. At every level, the GOP is targeting LGBTQ students and couples. In the Supreme Court, in the U.S. Senate, and now even in Virginia’s state government. They’re aiming to kill the right for Americans to marry who they love, and they’re doing it in broad daylight, with glee.

If we want to have any hope of defeating these hateful ideologies and preserving marriage equality, we need you to step up. Will you chip in to help preserve the right of all Virginians to marry who they love?
