Today I’m actually writing with good news (seems few and far in between these days…). Last night in Kansas, voters sent a resounding message that they are ready to fight back against extreme abortion bans. It’s the first public vote after Roe was overturned and it’s a BIG deal that voters in deep red Kansas stood up for women’s reproductive health.

However, this one amendment vote is just the first of many battles we have coming up. Republicans are dead-set on turning back the clock in all 50 states. Here in Congress they’ve introduced multiple bills to criminalize abortion nationally. If we lose the House, we know those bills are on the docket for week 1 under Kevin McCarthy. So much is on the line.

This November, we have an opportunity to send an even bigger message. All these extremists running around the country (including my opponent Tom Patti) must be defeated. Please help us keep the momentum up - it’s vital we tell every swing voter in my district why this election matters.
