We did it, John.

Last night, we took on a corporate, special interest-backed challenge, and
we won. That’s all thanks to this people-powered movement.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. My heart is full knowing how much love
and support our movement has put into this election. From making a
donation and showing your support online to knocking on doors and calling
voters — you all have been helping our campaign in countless ways. We
couldn’t have pulled off this victory without you,
John.

Together, we’ve sent a powerful message to the world that our movement is
ready to fight for the change we deserve.

Yesterday, St. Louis made it clear that we believe in a future where
everyone has a right to health care including abortion care, to housing,
to a living wage, and to quality education. It’s an urgent reminder that
despite how hard they work to stop us, WE have the power to elect the
leaders we deserve.

Yesterday’s victory was a monumental step forward. But now, the hard work
continues to bring our progressive, anti-racist agenda to life. There is
no time to waste to make sure Congress and the White House work together
to pass the critical legislation our communities need to overcome the
crises we currently face. We need transformative change in the form of
student debt cancellation, Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, voting
rights, and reproductive freedom.

These are just some of the fights I will be focused on. I will not let up
until our federal government takes action to guarantee and protect human
rights for all. That’s my promise to you,
