You can count on the same quality programming and networking you?ve come to expect from the premier historic preservation conference in the Lone Star State. Hosted again by the Friends of the Texas Historical Commission, this year?s conference will be the biggest and most engaging we?ve planned to date.
The full schedule includes 90 expert speakers from across Texas and the U.S., more than 40 sessions and pre-conference workshops, several renowned keynote speakers, and lots of fun and interesting activities that we?re still planning and can?t wait to announce!
The biggest difference this year? It?s going to be a truly hybrid conference, with the option to attend the full event either in person or virtually!
In 2021, we did our first fully virtual conference because of the pandemic. While it was extremely successful and we had more attendees than ever, we also missed the energy and camaraderie of our in-person event. Last year, we went back to in person, but with a virtual option to stream only the keynote speeches.
This year, we?re offering the best of both worlds. While we hope you?ll join us in person at the DoubleTree by Hilton Austin, we understand that not everyone can make it here. If you join us online, you?ll be able to stream all the conference sessions, and the recordings will be archived for viewing up to 60 days after the conference. In fact, the recordings will be available to all attendees?both in person and virtual?so you?ll be able to watch those great presentations you had to miss because you had to choose between concurrent sessions.
Save up to $125 on registration by taking advantage of the early-bird rate, which only lasts through September. As always, Courthouse Stewards, students, and organizations registering multiple people at the same time can receive additional discounts. There is also a la carte pricing for workshops, special events, and single-day registrations.
