If you need any further evidence that Nancy Mace is not the “moderate” she brands herself as, here’s what happened over the weekend:

Nancy Mace just voted NO on a measure that would ban assault-style weapons and help protect our kids from gun violence.

While families are being gunned down with weapons of war, Mace has once again shown which side she’s on— and it’s not the Lowcountry’s.

As a physician, I’ve seen too many children in the hospital suffering from gunshot wounds—I don’t have the luxury of looking away.

Mace, with her recent votes and statements, is clear on what she believes… life starts at conception and ends at the hands of an assailant with a weapon of war.

When I met Nancy in her statehouse office years ago, and she brushed by me as she said "I'm a second amendment girl", I knew she would ALWAYS put the interests of the NRA ahead of our children's safety. Her latest votes are no surprise.

Despite all the branding in the world, what’s actually “moderate” about any of Nancy Mace’s actions? Nothing.
