Primary Election Day was yesterday in Michigan, John. And we’re pleased to report that two very important pro-choice women – Rep. Elissa Slotkin in Michigan’s 8th district, and Governor Gretchen Whitmer – won!

Michigan needs fierce pro-choice women in office who will fight for reproductive rights – and that’s exactly what Rep. Slotkin and Gov. Whitmer have done.

Both women have been working nonstop to prevent Republicans from reinstating Michigan’s 1931 law that bans all abortions – including without exceptions of rape or incest.

Rep. Slotkin and Governor Whitmer are in two critical races that could determine whether Michigan stays blue or flips red.

As one of the top battleground states across the country, our House majority, along with the future of abortion rights, could be decided right here!
