There was amazing news last night when Kansans overwhelmingly voted to protect abortion rights and access. Patients in Kansas and neighboring states can still get the care they deserve.
Abortion restrictions are not popular, even in purple and red states. Let’s prove that to anti-abortion Republican AGs and politicians by defeating them at the ballot box in November — starting with DAGA-endorsed candidate for Kansas Attorney General, Chris Mann.

Subject: A huge decision on abortion is on the ballot in Kansas
Friend,
Next week, Kansas will become the first state to have a statewide vote on reproductive rights since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. DAGA is proud to support abortion rights across the country, so if you live in Kansas, or know anyone who does, be sure to tell them to vote NO on August 2 and remind your friends and family to do the same!
Anti-abortion Republican Kansas AG Derek Schmidt has already pledged to vote “yes” on the matter and he’s extremely anti-abortion – just like the Republicans running to succeed him as Attorney General. This serves as just one more piece of evidence that Republican AGs don’t actually believe in letting Americans have autonomy over their own bodies. And this is exactly why we need to elect pro-reproductive rights AGs this fall.
Kansas has been a safe haven for abortion protections for mid-western and southern states, and this vote marks a critical moment for the future of reproductive freedom in the region. We must protect abortion access wherever we can.
P.S. – remember, if you have any family and friends who live in Kansas, they need to Vote NO on August 2nd! If they Vote NO, that means they’re voting to protect abortion rights.
