HICE: We Must Not Codify Same-Sex Marriage |
by Jody Hice |
Democrats in Congress are moving to reinforce the Supreme Court's grave error in the Obergefell ruling with legislation. Not only does the atrociously named "Respect for Marriage Act" discount the faith of millions of Americans, it also erodes their religious liberty by elevating the "right" to same-sex marriage above the constitutionally-guaranteed right for people to live according to their faith. |

Dems Declare War on PRCs for Offering Women What They Won't: A Choice |
by Suzanne Bowdey |
As far as campaign slogans go, "We Hate Babies" isn't a particularly good one. And yet, with each passing day, that seems to be the message the Democratic Party is desperate to convey. Like Barack Obama, who insisted he didn't want his daughters "punished with a baby," the Left's post-Dobbs strategy seems to be painting motherhood as the worst form of oppression and pregnancy as a torture encouraged only by pro-life zealots. Taking Your Money Twice: Dems Agree to Build Back Smaller Bill |
by Joshua Arnold |
"Smoke and mirrors," Rep. Andy Harris (R-Md.) called it on Monday's edition of Washington Watch. "Completely Orwellian." That's the verdict on the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, which a damning analysis from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School Budget Model (PWBM) has concluded does not improve America's economic picture. "The impact on inflation is statistically indistinguishable from zero." Worse, if the act had any effect, it "would very slightly increase inflation until 2024." |

These Two Pro-Abortion Lies Sank Kansas's 'Value Them Both' Amendment |
by Ben Johnson |
The pro-life cause just experienced its first setback at the ballot box since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Voters in Kansas defeated the "Value Them Both" amendment (or Amendment 2), which would have clarified that the state constitution does not contain an unalienable "right" to abortion. With 63% of the statewide vote total in, Kansans rejected the amendment nearly two-to-one. |
