Because of your incredible support over the last year, our campaign won our primary election. I am honored to be the Democratic nominee for Arizona's 6th Congressional District.
Today's results are loud and clear. This win isn't about me, it's about all of us — Arizonans who are fed up. It's time to take back control over our own bodies, restore our democracy and get to work solving challenges that face us here in Southern Arizona, from inflation to water security, to climate change.
Here's the truth. We've got a big battle ahead of us. This is the MOST competitive district in Arizona. Republicans will be throwing everything they have at this seat, and we have to be ready.
Between Gabby Giffords and Ann Kirkpatrick, Southern Arizona has a powerful tradition of being represented by strong women. With this victory, I'm going to do everything in my power to ensure I can carry on that mantle.
