Friend: My race in Florida will determine whether Democrats have enough votes in the Senate to protect abortion access – and I'm falling short of my goal with hours left to make up the difference.

I have an incredible opportunity to win in Florida and expand Democrats' Senate majority. I can be the vote we need in the Senate to ban the filibuster and to federally restore abortion access.

 CNN has called Florida a top pickup opportunity for Democrats, but the issue is this: I'm neck and neck in the polls, and a GOP super PAC just spent $1.5 MILLION on misleading attack ads to defeat me.

If I miss my midnight fundraising goal, I won't have enough resources to reach Floridians and set the record straight – which could mean falling just behind on Election Day and handing the Senate over to Mitch McConnell.
