, we need your help now more than ever. The Senate is set to vote on the upcoming budget reconciliation healthcare and climate legislation and will have to vote on a slew of anti-immigrant amendments, including one that would extend the cruel Title 42 expulsion order. It’s crucial that we send a message to our elected officials to OPPOSE any amendments that would harm our communities and threaten passage of this critical legislation.
If these anti-immigrant amendments pass, there will be significant consequences. Stephen Miller’s Title 42 policy could be codified into U.S. law, meaning our asylum system would be shut down indefinitely. Immigrants’ access to healthcare, education, and public benefits could also be in danger.
We have a small window to stop these attacks on immigrant communities, . Join us in calling on senators to vote against any anti-immigrant amendments presented for this budget reconciliation bill >>>
We are calling on elected officials to set aside self-interested political motives and to vote no on all poison pill amendments that stand in the way of delivering this unprecedented legislation.
Thank you for joining us in this fight,
