ICYMI: JD Vance Suggests People in ‘Violent’ Marriages Shouldn’t Get Divorced

After saying that spouses should stay in violent marriages for the sake of their children, and that "domestic violence is way worse outside of marriages than it is within marriage," JD Vance has decided to double down.

In an interview on a local radio station, Vance said that he “completely stands by” his comments that spouses in violent marriages should not get divorced.

Having once referred to rape as an "inconvenience" and having compared abortion to slavery, Vance has made it clear that his views are not only backward, they're dangerous.

Team, this November, there could not be more on the line, and we refuse to let extremist politicians like Vance make life or death decisions on behalf of hard-working Ohioans.

Here's the bottom line: We need to elect Democratic leaders in Ohio – but we're up against millions from Vance's billionaire backers – and we can't do it without your help. Will you chip in $5 or whatever you can to help us beat JD Vance and other extreme Republicans in November? >> [link removed]
