Dear Friends and Supporters,

The road to abolition is long and filled with challenges, but also includes many victories. While we continue to build towards our vision of a world without immigration detention, it’s important to celebrate our triumphs, honor the work that has helped so many, and prepare for future obstacles.

We invite you to join us in Freedom for Immigrants’ Until Everyone is Free Annual Appeal: Celebrating 10 Years! We will celebrate our successes from last fiscal year, honor 10 years of abolition work at FFI, and raise $400,000 to meet our annual appeal goal!
Freedom for Immigrants has been fortunate to build with so many committed supporters along our journey. We also rely on many of you as recurring donors who help us sustain the work throughout the year. Through these acts of generosity, we can count on receiving more than $100,000 in pledged donations jumpstarting our annual appeal by 25%! A gift from you will go a long way in helping us meet our goal in continuing to fight for detention abolition. Please consider supporting with a suggested donation of $25.

Your monetary contribution will allow us to continue sharing stories like those of Petrona Lopez ([link removed]) and Marlissa Joseph ([link removed]) , who risk retaliation in speaking about the abusive conditions of immigration detention, and allow us to place monitoring fellows in community-based groups in the FFI National Visitation Network ([link removed]) . These fellowships ensure that people with lived experiences of the immigration detention system have the financial resources to dedicate their time and talents to lead in the detention abolition movement.

So much of our work at FFI relies on the support of our allies in this movement. Thank you for being a committed partner.

In Solidarity,

Wensley Peguero
Development Director
