John,
In 2005, Congress passed a law shielding gun manufacturers from legal immunity. In the years since, sales of new weapons and mass shootings have skyrocketed.
We need to pass the Equal Access to Justice for Victims of Gun Violence Act, which will officially repeal the gun liability shield to allow survivors of gun violence to sue for justice. Repealing the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA) would also make firearm trace data maintained by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives available to the public.
Tell Congress: End legal protection for gun makers and repeal the PLCAA. All victims of gun violence should have the explicit right to hold gun makers accountable.

At a time when mass shootings occur multiple times a week, survivors and their families are actively prevented from suing gun manufacturers for justice.
When will enough be enough? We are tired of mourning while gun manufacturers put profits before people. And we're tired of watching our representatives fail to take clear, transformative action to protect our country.
Sign our petition and tell Congress: Pass the Equal Access to Justice for Victims of Gun Violence Act and repeal the PLCAA immediately.
In solidarity,
