Today is Primary Day, and I have about 15 minutes of free time in my schedule. I know that doesn’t sound like a lot of time, but with a schedule like mine, I can assure you it’s a gift.

And while I know our campaign has been sending a lot of emails your way, I want to take a few of these minutes to tell you about why your support is so essential to our success, especially today.

When we launched this re-election campaign we knew what we were going up against — corporate special interest groups and Mitch McConnell-backed super PACs who will spend millions of dollars to defeat us.

But we also knew that we had built one of the strongest people-powered teams in the country. One who had already helped go up against incredible odds to flip this seat.

And now, we find ourselves back here again and the stakes couldn’t be higher. Trump was just in Arizona and has endorsed a GOP-extremist who wants to go even further than the Supreme Court. He’s called for a national ban on abortion.

So on this Primary Day, your support means so much. It means making sure a ban like that never happens. And it means standing up to Trump and anyone who wants to take those rights away. Which is why I have to ask:

Can you please add a contribution to our re-election campaign before midnight? The amount you give isn’t as important as the number of donations we receive — because it all adds up when we’re all chipping in.
