Our annual Gather program invites people of all ages to come together and explore the cultures and traditions of a particular country through food, music, art, educational resources, and more.

This year, LIRS is proud to offer Gather: Guatemala. We’re so excited to give people a chance to come around the dinner table with family and friends to learn more about where our immigrant neighbors come from—to try Guatemalan food, listen to marimba music, learn how to say hello in one of the indigenous languages, and to try some of the amazing coffee from the country’s first all-female roastery, Chica Bean.
